A little over a month ago, Dillwood Farms hosted our first farm dinner of the year. Southern Food Tour partnered with Ryan Smith from Empire State South, Steven Satterfield from Miller Union and several local food and drink purveyors to host a spring dinner in our fields. The weather was perfect, flowers were beginning to bloom, and there was delicious food and great company to be had by all.
Seth and enjoy being a part of these events. We are able to show people the farm and we can try our food expertly prepared by some of the top chefs in Georgia. When the majority of the food on our plate comes from the area immediately surrounding us, a whole new dining experience presents itself.
As our next dinner approaches, we are anxious to see how just six weeks can make a difference in the menu and scenery of the event.
